Hey thanks everyone for all your favorite resource & inspiration websites.
Here is the page that I created and added all of that info to. I have also compiled as many job search sites as I could find. Check out the page and if you have more or other links please post it here and I will add it to the page. It's 1 page of the student Ad Clubs google group but you should be able to see it...let me know if your having any issues.

Vision Statement
Begin to think about who you are as a person and what makes you, you. Tell me something I don't know about you that you would feel comfortable mentioning in an interview. What is important that you get across to the person you will someday be interviewing with?

Tips for creating perfect advertising portfolios
I found this website that has 5 different articles from creative directors and other design professionals about what they look for in a good portfolio. I thought it was helpful and interesting to get 5 different views on how to do it right.

"As a creative director who has reviewed thousands of portfolios, the first thing I notice is the style and condition of the portfolio. A clean black hard shell portfolio immediately says, "this person is a professional" and cares about the way they present themselves and their work. Aluminum briefcase portfolios also make a very professional first impression too." by Michael Crozier
